Our Story
Oak+Cannon was named after the grandparents of founder Jennifer Perciballi. While growing up in New York, Jennifer was enthralled by her grandmother Norma Cannon’s stories about her husband Oakley and how they used to go out dancing until dawn. Though Jennifer never met Oakley, her grandmother’s stories about their happy times together brought him to life exemplifying the power of a great story.
Grounded in Storytelling: With a deep appreciation for Cannon’s skills at captivating listeners, Jennifer built Oak+Cannon on the idea that compelling and truthful storytelling can elevate brands and build loyal audiences. Since it launched, Jennifer has continued to place a priority on authenticity in storytelling for her clients, while expanding the agency’s services to help executives navigate a variety of complex business needs.
Committed to Giving Back: In addition to storytelling, Jennifer is committed to carrying on her grandparent’s legacy of charitable giving. An optimist, gratitude practitioner and nature-lover at heart, she initiated a program where Oak+Cannon donates oak trees each year in the name of each of its clients. “Throughout human history oak trees have been synonymous with wisdom, strength, endurance and good fortune; all the same things we want for our clients,” says Jennifer.
